  1. My Xbox 360 has broken twice since I’ve gotten it. The second time, they wanted me to pay for it, but after much arguing they “agreed” to fix it.

Still waiting to get the King of Kong in NC. Hopefully in a few weeks.

    Greg,
This is a question I forgot to ask a while ago, during one of the Star Trek shows. I was at Best Buy and noticed that a 24 episode season of Star Trek: TNG is selling for $129.99. Why are they so much money? Its almost as bad a s HBO $90 for 13 episodes of The Sopranos (I know HBO says they don’t have advertising and have to charge that much, although people still have to pay $12 a month for service).

  2. Dennis, huh, they are still selling for $129.99???? That is insane. The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine seasons are marked down to 69.99 now. They each have a 7 Season box set (from a couple years ago) of all of those for over $400. Soon there will be a ST:TNG Complete collection for over $450. Enterprise and Voyager seasons are still price over $100. The television pricing is insane. Can you imagine what they’re going to charge for HD? What Paramount does with the Trek DVD’s is completely insidious. I personally have two, yes two Star Trek DVD’s. One is The Animated Series, because it hasn’t been aired in at least a decade, and the other is an interview DVD Shatner put out of he and Nimoy. HBO is just as heinous.

DVD prices are nuts. Why are all Special Editions double or triple the price of the regular? Are you getting double or triple the content? No.

  3. Miami is going to have it’s first video game convention soon and Billy Mitchell is going to be a guest. I am thinking of going but I don’t know if I’ll get a chance to meet the guy because even the website says he’s only dropping by for a little bit. How busy can this guy be that he can’t stay a while at a video game convention?

  4. I met some of the guys that are organizing the convention and they said Billy Mitchell will be there all weekend! I got pretty excited and then I started asking them if he’s bringing his sauce. They said they didn’t know but I kept pressing the issue and threatening not to go unless they could guarantee me that Billy Mitchell would have some sauce to sell at their videogame convention. I realized I was being annoying but it was kind of funny.

  5. ‘above the law’ was re-titled ‘nico’ in the UK. don’t know why. maybe the producers thought it sounded more like an art house film. but with roundhouse kicks.
