  1. BTW, the prince dressed up as a “desert” Nazi, part of Gen. Rommel’s troops. Still pretty awful, but no Hitler mustache.

In retro gaming news, Mega Man 9 was released on the Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3. An all new 8-bit game, which has been getting pretty good reviews. I just downloaded Mega Man 2 on the Virtual Console and realized how much my video game skills have diminished. Mega Man 2 was great, but was unforgiving at times.

Religulous was really good as well. I saw it in Berkeley, so of course the whole theater agreed with Bill Maher. Another good documentary is Jesus Camp, which is about the Evangelicals. Scarier than any horror film.

Also, I’ll be in town for Thanksgiving, can I do another guest spot on the show?

  2. Dennis, I recently downloaded Mega Man 2 on the Virtual Console, too. You’re right, it’s more difficult than I remember. Maybe I’m just rusty. I still want to download Mega Man 9 as well.

Of course you can be a guest on the show again! We had a lot of fun last time in episode 99. I just hope McCain and Palin don’t win the Presidential election, otherwise the three of us will be screaming the whole time.

  3. Well I recently got Mega Man 2 for the actual NES, so there! Ha ha. Jesus Camp I saw on cable awhile ago, but found it completely boring. I can’t even get annoyed with those doofs, I just want to ignore them.

Be happy to have Dennis on again, although I think we should do it somewhere quieter that you can actually hear us.

  4. i was so glad to see henry winkler back in fonzie garb. as a kid, i had a mego fonzie doll. and yes, complete with ‘ayy!’ action feature. stephen baldwin now appears on british chat shows and ‘celebrity big brother’ – he can seem both a nice guy and a nut-job at the same time.
