  1. Yeah, I totally understand not feeling any sympathy for these TV millionaires and their musical chair careers. At least they have fame and fortune and a future. I can’t believe ordinary people pick sides and defend their favorite tv celebrities like this is some kind of election. Then again I’m talking about incensed internet people on message boards and blogs so who knows how ordinary they really are. I’m sure Conan O Brian doesn’t give a crap if I don’t even have a job, much less a career.

Thanks for clueing me in on the Gravicons or Grativars or whatever they’re called. I didn’t know how people did that until you guys mentioned it.

I used to get ticked off about my life grinding to a halt whenever the phone rang. Then I started getting inundated with telemarketers and I learned to just not answer the phone unless I screen the caller id, and even then I’m not going to stop whatever I’m doing to go get it. I’m also so used to my wife not picking up when I call her that I don’t even consider the first call I make anything other than a heads up that I need her to get in touch. I make a lot of calls fully expecting not to talk to her. It’s pretty dumb but even with all this technology, the days of instantaneous communication in my house are long gone. We have an email attitude where the guy on the receiving end is in control of when the conversation happens instead of the person initiating the communication. I think my parents stayed more in touch with people in the 80s when we had normal phones before caller ids and cell phones because they never knew who was calling and calls were pretty infrequent.

  2. It’s been a while. I like what you’ve done with the site.

I’ve been pretty annoyed with the state of movies and tv for too long. I stopped watching tv over 10 years ago, and I rarely bother going to the theatre. The way I see it, if you pay for that crap you’re just encouraging those idiots to continue down the same path. Did you guys hear that they’re going to remake Weekend at Bernies and Mannequin?

  3. Wait…seriously? There’s a remake of Weekend at Bernie’s in the works??

Esteban – or anyone else – is Jay Leno finally back as the host of The Tonight Show? I haven’t been watching much TV lately and what I actually do watch is recorded on my DVR.

  4. i watched ‘the A-team’ with trepidation as i was expecting to hate it, but i thought the filmmakers got the tone of comedy / action just right. neeson is an actor i’ve always liked even though he’s made some iffy choices. bradley cooper is from my favourite show ‘alias’ so was familiar with him. even the newcomers jackson and copley played their parts with authority and am looking forward to another film.
