yoko on the ‘rock N roll circus’… there are no words… the idea of everyone getting to commit a free crime: if you actually break that down i seriously think that would make the premise for a ray bradbury or philip k dick style sci-fi story. very creative and so many avenues to explore. i bet frank nora could pick that up and run with it with you.
David, I really do think that if everyone were allowed to commit crimes in the way I discussed in the episode, it would result in people being on their best behavior out of fear of angering other people and having those people commit their free crimes on them…and if people are always on their best behavior, then ultimately no crimes get committed. It could work!
Of course, there are lunatics out there who would commit more than their allotted free crimes, but those people are mental and would’ve committed those multiple crimes regardless of what laws and rules were in place. There will always be psychos out there.
