  1. I am EXTREMELY skeptical that one guy created the Star Wars cartoon all by himself. It’s gotta be some Lucasfilm viral marketing stunt. I’m looking for conversations the guy has had online where he mentions the software he’s using or any other tiny little hint at how this was really made.

  2. Esteban, you’re probably right. Traditionally, a two minute animation like that would involve at least several people (background artists, pencil testers, animators, in-betweeners, etc.)…but it’s difficult to discount what one person can achieve by him or herself with today’s computers, software, and (most importantly) a ton of free time.

    I just sent Otaking77077 a message on YouTube asking if he’ll be a guest on the podcast. Let’s see if he responds.
