  1. i do think ‘jurassic park’ was the last of the blockbuster / event films. it was massive yet had a good if somewhat flawed story – turn the brain off and enjoy it. greg – your queen elizabeth voice is surprisingly accurate – if you watch old ‘spitting image’ episodes on youtube; that was essentially the voice. margaret thatcher was not very popular in working class areas of england – you may have heard there were ‘death parties’ in the street – the first being in liverpool if i recall correctly. i’d definitely watch that ‘family matters’ reboot.

  2. Well Titanic was an “event” I just decided to ignore! I probably got the Queen’s accent from a movie or British TV show. As disliked as Thatcher was, you didn’t want to utter the Reagan in my household 25 years ago. Fans we were not.
