The Kid From Brooklyn was on TV over here on a clip show the other day – so sad – he could have had a talk show or something, i’m sure it would have been popular; the late bill hicks was due to have talk show on british television in the 90s. ‘bankrupt by beanies’ sounds like a great watch – i think we forget how big beanie babies were in the late 90s, the speed of their decline contributes to that lack of recall. there’s nothing to say they won’t come back and become popular collector’s items – ‘star wars’ and 80s properties like ‘transformers’ were nothing in the early 90s, now something that sold for $10 / £7 in 1984 can go for around a grand on eBay.
