  1. netflix in the UK is awful. the US version has a great choice of TV shows, i was waiting for it to improve before i subscribed again, but this has not happened; so i’m not bothering any more. 1987’s ‘robocop’ is always worth a watch regardless of how many times you’ve seen it. on the other hand, ‘the chronicles of riddick’ is possibly the worst film i’ve ever seen – it was one of the last films i rented from the video shop and contributed to me to stop renting films. yes, i thought it was that bad. i’ll reserve judgment on batfleck, the new suit looks pretty good and i don’t get worked up about casting or changes to properties or characters i grew up with – hollywood just does what it wants and us nerds need to accept that.
