1983 / 1984 was such an exciting time in england for robot fans. at the time the early japanese releases of ‘gobots’ titled ‘robo machine’ was released. i’m sure it prepared my tiny mind; as about a year later ‘transformers’ exploded. i’ve seen the american remake of ‘the vanishng’ as well as the original. i think jeff bridges must be trying to a dutch accent in homage to the original.
